Representative Greg Smith Visits Maupin

Maupin, Ore. – During last September’s special session, the Oregon Legislature undertook the redistricting process. This meant that the District 57 lines changed. The City of Maupin is now included within District 57.  Representative Greg Smith (R-Heppner) met with community leaders at the Maupin Civic Center, including Kevin Lewis, Maupin City Manager, and Carol Beatty, Maupin City Councilor. Additionally, Councilor Beatty was kind enough to give Rep. Smith a tour of Maupin. “I deeply appreciated the tour of Maupin and was glad to learn more about the area and the new constituents of District 57” said Representative Smith.
